Manufacturing Chemical Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment for mixing and blending paint-related materials
• Accurately weigh and safely add materials according to process orders
• Maintain the highest levels of safety and quality standards
• Follow all written and verbal instructions precisely
• Use manual and mechanical devices such as chain hoists, drum carts, and pallet jacks to move or stage material
• Collect samples from batches for laboratory testing
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels and organization
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and stooping

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 10-hour overnight shifts (8:00pm to 6:30am)
• Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds by hand
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous experience operating fork trucks
