Manufacturing Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Program new weld jobs on robotic weld cells and make adjustments to automated fabrication equipment
• Develop maintenance programs and perform or oversee preventative maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot problems with programs and equipment, working closely with maintenance and vendors
• Monitor for corrective actions to minimize downtime impacts and monitor weekly machine efficiencies
• Perform data-driven projects and manage nesting jobs for lasers and programming for press brakes

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, including weld callouts and quality specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement solutions
• Commitment to safety and the ability to handle multiple priorities
