About the role

Responsibilities

  • Streamline manufacturing processes while maintaining product quality and adhering to FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines
  • Act as a subject matter expert in developing automated systems for production and packaging environments
  • Identify improvements and collaborate with internal engineering teams and external firms to design and implement automated equipment upgrades
  • Administrate user access and system backups on all industrial equipment
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation equipment and processes
  • Support the maintenance team with troubleshooting and problem-solving for existing equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in automation, process control, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial controls and automation
  • Proficiency in PLC (Allen Bradley/Rockwell) and HMI (PanelView, Wonderware InTouch, IFix) programming
  • Ability to read, understand, and develop P&ID, engineering layouts, and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP guidelines, and GAMP5
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BAS/BMS Systems (Siemens Insight/Desigo)
  • Experience in data acquisition, historian solutions, virtualization, or AutoCAD
