Manufacturing Automated Line Tender

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up tandem lines, transfer presses, and automatic presses
• Program and adjust end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), feed equipment, and conveyors
• Load coils onto uncoilers and thread them through feed lines, ensuring proper alignment
• Perform initial setups and determine corrective actions to ensure automation equipment meets performance standards
• Conduct hourly quality checks to ensure produced parts meet specifications
• Use lift trucks and overhead cranes for the placement and removal of dies, coils, and blanks
• Troubleshoot production equipment and automation systems to maintain maximum efficiency
• Maintain end-of-arm tooling and prepare necessary items for production, such as conveyors, chutes, and lubricants

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with proficiency in math and reading
• Ability to pass a written mechanical aptitude test
• Knowledge of Fanuc and ABB robots
• Experience navigating multiple HMI screens
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production equipment and programs
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including 6-7 days per week as required
