Manufacturing Associate I

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment used in manufacturing operations, including cleaning and preparation
• Adhere to safety protocols, ISO 9001 guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately document production activities on paper and electronic batch production records
• Identify and address equipment stoppages or process deviations
• Collaborate with team members, leadership, and supporting departments to ensure product quality
• Serve as a subject matter expert on laboratory equipment and chromatography
• Train others during daily tasks and perform duties across multiple sites

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in a related field
• 0-2 years of manufacturing work experience
• Experience with the operation and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment (e.g., pumps, reactors, UV detectors, pressure tanks)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to work with electronic batch records
• Ability to lift 40lbs and push/pull up to 200lbs for short distances
• Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing English
• Strong organizational, math, and measurement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a classified cleanroom
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO or other regulated processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings and familiarity with process control software
• 2+ years of experience in Biotech manufacturing
