Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations and processes to manufacture completed driveshafts using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and light power tools
• Compare system components to customer orders and bills of material to ensure completeness
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet specific tolerances
• Visually inspect parts to quality standards and repair or return flawed products for rework
• Resolve mechanical or hydraulic problems encountered during the assembly process
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and adhere to all safety protocols and time schedules
• Support total quality management objectives within a team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the shift
• Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
• Ability to read and understand process work instructions
• Willingness to work overtime, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns as necessary
• Six months of manufacturing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes
• Basic computer skills
