About the role
Responsibilities
- Manufacture human blood derived components through selection, activation, transduction, cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation
- Perform aseptic techniques including tube welding, connections, and transfers within a controlled cGMP cleanroom environment
- Weigh and measure in-process materials to ensure accurate quantities are added or removed
- Adhere to production schedules and Batch Records to ensure on-time internal production logistics
- Record production data clearly and concisely in accordance with proper Good Documentation Practices (GDocP)
- Communicate production deviations and assist with quality investigations as required
- Work effectively within a team-based, cross-functional environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma required (Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred)
- 0-1 years of experience in cGMP cell therapy manufacturing, bioprocessing, or a relevant field
- Basic understanding of cell culture, cryopreservation, purification, and aseptic processing
- General understanding of cGMP/FDA regulated industry standards
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong technical writing capability and basic mathematical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Background in biology, chemistry, medical, or clinical practices
