Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, protein purification, depth filtration, and chromatography.
• Support process optimization initiatives and identify/elevate processing issues to support solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation by writing and reviewing process documents and providing feedback on operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and utilize quality systems such as Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Requests.
• Utilize automation and business systems including LIMS, MES, and ERP.
• Perform strenuous and repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, climbing, and making equipment connections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related area or engineering, OR an Associate's degree in a science-related area/Biotech certificate with 2+ years of experience in a regulated biotech manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cGMPs as they relate to commercial operations.
• Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 pm to 7:00 am) on a schedule that alternates between three and four nights per week.
• Ability to independently lift, dispense, push, or pull items weighing an average of 25 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
