Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Support biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance
• Operate equipment and learn processes such as depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, and centrifugation
• Assist with technical documentation, including writing and reviewing process documents and providing feedback on operational procedures
• Maintain quality and compliance by utilizing cGMPs and Quality systems (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, etc.)
• Participate in projects and support the trending of department metrics using business systems like ERP and Trackwise
• Perform strenuous and repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related area or engineering
• OR an Associate's degree in a science-related area or a Biotech certificate with 2+ years of experience in a biotech manufacturing or regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs
• Ability to lift, dispense, push, or pull items weighing an average of 25 pounds
• Ability to work a specific shift: Sunday–Tuesday with alternating Saturdays (1800-0700)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation systems such as LIMS, MES, or PI
• Previous experience in a commercial operations environment
