Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance
• Support process optimization initiatives and identify/elevate processing issues
• Maintain technical documentation by writing and reviewing process documents and providing feedback on operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and utilize quality systems such as Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Requests
• Operate and learn automation systems including LIMS, MES, and PI

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related area or engineering
• OR an Associate's degree in a science-related area or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of experience in a biotech manufacturing or regulated environment
• Knowledge of mammalian cell culture and understanding of cGMPs
• Ability to work alternating shifts (Wednesday, Thursday-Saturday, 0600-1900)
• Physical ability to perform strenuous, repetitive work, including lifting up to 25 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
