Manufacturing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of wash area and replenish wash materials
• Manage machine fluid inventories including lubricants and coolant
• Perform machine coolant changes and fill machines with oil
• Handle raw materials including receiving, storing, and inventory control
• Stage raw materials to machining centers
• Retrieve and return gages to Gage Control/Calibration
• Move WIP material and perform painting or floor cleaning as necessary
• Complete assigned 5S action items

Requirements

• Knowledge of safe work practices with solvents
• Knowledge of overhead crane use
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
