Manual Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Conduct database testing using SQL queries to verify data consistency
• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on requirements
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements
• Ensure quality standards are met before software releases

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in manual testing
• Strong expertise in SQL queries and database testing
• Experience in functional, regression, system, and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium or Playwright
• Exposure to automation frameworks
