Manual Operator

Responsibilities

• Execute manual manufacturing operations, including the assembly of plastic and metal components.
• Stage materials and supplies to automation manufacturing cells to ensure continuous production.
• Perform in-process inspections of components and sub-assemblies to maintain quality standards.
• Follow work orders, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a cleanroom environment.
• Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and Kanban systems through accurate packing and transportation.
• Communicate effectively with production leaders regarding any discrepancies or operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM in any related field of study.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in Malay and basic English for reading documentation and communication.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for up to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to perform tasks with high accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical health check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
• Previous experience working in a cleanroom or within the medical device industry.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up production environment.
• Strong mathematical and arithmetic skills for accurate counting.
• Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques.
