About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision aerospace components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Perform inspections to ensure all parts meet strict quality standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum
- Knowledge of precision machining techniques
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
