Manual Machinist

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision aerospace components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform inspections to ensure all parts meet strict quality standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum
• Knowledge of precision machining techniques
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
