Managing Underwriter, Mobility and Sharing Economy

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager and point of contact for Sharing Economy customers and their brokers in a B2B marketplace.
• Drive new business and retention through proactive sales and service, including RFI/RFP participation and renewal negotiations.
• Evaluate complex large commercial auto and Sharing Economy risks to recommend appropriate program structures and terms.
• Collaborate with enterprise partners such as Claims, Actuarial, Finance, Legal, and Technology to ensure responsive execution and issue resolution.
• Provide market insights regarding competitive dynamics and emerging trends to inform product strategy and operational improvements.
• Monitor account health and performance indicators to support disciplined portfolio management and profitability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in large commercial auto underwriting and/or broker/account management.
• Strong understanding of P&C commercial auto concepts, including coverage, risk selection, and regulatory considerations.
• Experience working with both admitted and non-admitted (E&S) placements.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with national brokers and large commercial customers.
• Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to interact with external executive audiences.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience within the Sharing Economy sector.
• Experience with broker-led placements and complex RFI/RFP processes.
