About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide commercial support to project teams on a range of private sector projects
- Advise on the financial feasibility of projects during early stages
- Assess returns from sub-contractors and manage the awarding of work packages
- Monitor and measure actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure using CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
- Manage team workloads and performance
- Check and collate commercial information from the wider team
- Maintain commercial information and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
Requirements
- Experience working on large 2-stage bids
- Prior experience working within a Tier 1 main contracting environment
- Proven ability to manage and mentor junior staff
- Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence dealing with client representatives and sub-contractors
- Private sector experience is preferred
