Managing Director – U.S. & Canada Corporates, Industrials

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of approximately 20 analysts covering 150–170 rated issuers within the Industrials sector.
• Provide credit leadership in the ratings process, ensuring consistent application of Fitch’s criteria and methodologies.
• Articulate credit views and sector outlooks through written research, meetings, conference calls, and industry roundtables.
• Act as a highly visible presence for external stakeholders, including industry management, institutional investors, and the media.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment and champion analytical excellence.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in capital markets and/or credit analysis.
• Proven experience in people management and leading highly functional teams.
• Strong professional background in corporate credit, including financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of debt capital markets and rating criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA designation.
• Established network of relationships within the debt capital markets and the Industrials sector.
