About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic growth of the Development Services platform and establish business plans for various operational sectors.
  • Manage all phases of project management, including design, construction, occupancy, quality control, and budget management.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams, providing direction, leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate sales opportunities, marketing plans, and the delegation of ground-up, tenant improvement, and third-party workloads.
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements and facilitate regular project meetings.
  • Conduct preliminary program studies and development due diligence for ground-up and acquisition assignments.
  • Track project progress against goals, timelines, and budgets, generating detailed status reports.
  • Collaborate with internal brokerage and development teams to assist in pitching and proposal generation.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Cost Estimating, or Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial terms, principles, and the ability to forecast and prepare complex budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex business documents and write professional reports or presentations.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Project.
  • Working knowledge of commercial leases, contracts, and construction practices.
  • Experience managing diverse project types including office, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use.
