Managing Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of long-term operational strategy, ensuring alignment with academic and cultural objectives.
• Manage and coach the school operations team, including facilities, front office, custodial, technology, and vendors.
• Oversee facilities, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance to ensure a clean and secure learning environment.
• Drive student recruitment and enrollment strategies to meet registration targets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage operational logistics including food service programs, transportation, and student data management.
• Oversee the operational budget, vendor contracts, and purchasing systems to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Champion equity and inclusion in all operational practices and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, education leadership, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in school operations leadership.
• 7+ years of total professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a senior management role.
• Experience working in a multi-school setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Certified School Business Official (SBO) certification.
• Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification.
