Managing Director, Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for 7-10 client accounts and oversee bespoke investor relations strategies
• Act as the primary accountable party for day-to-day client relationships and senior executive counsel
• Draft and review technical corporate communications including investor presentations, press releases, and earnings scripts
• Oversee tactical delivery of research projects, targeting analyses, and investor event execution
• Manage client engagements, budgeting, and invoicing accuracy
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of junior staff, including managing development plans and annual reviews
• Support business development by identifying and pitching new opportunities and leveraging professional networks
• Serve as a subject matter expert on biotech and healthcare investor relations

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, healthcare, communications, or consulting
• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Deep network within the investment community and biotech/healthcare ecosystem
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
• Strong writing and presentation skills suitable for C-Suite interactions
• Experience with employee reviews and professional development plans
