Managing Director - Commercial Leasing & Asset Finance

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the North American business unit
• Oversee core functions including sales, credit, operations, and portfolio management
• Drive business development and long-term growth in alignment with global strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with business partners, vendors, and the board
• Lead and develop the local management team
• Report regularly to international senior management on business performance

Requirements

• University degree
• 5-10 years of senior leadership experience in leasing, commercial lending, or financial services
• Proven P&L management experience for a substantial corporate unit
• Deep understanding of the leasing lifecycle, including origination and credit
• Strong credit analysis and risk assessment capabilities
• Proficiency with ERP platforms, CRM tools, and MS Office
• English fluency at a native or business-proficient level

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Experience in vendor financing and dealer channel business models
• Background with a global leasing company or international bank
• Experience operating across European and North American markets
• Proficiency in German or another European language

Benefits

• Base salary of approximately $250,000 - $280,000
• Variable incentive structure (roughly 30% of total compensation)
