Managing Director, Commercial Banking

Responsibilities

• Facilitate growth through business development and management of key client relationships to drive revenue generation.
• Lead the structuring of high-value, complex deals and secure credit approvals.
• Manage high-value client portfolios, driving cross-selling, retention, and profitability.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base through market insights and competitor analysis.
• Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, providing strategic problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences to stay ahead of market trends and emerging products.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies to mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define products and solutions that meet specific client needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or segmented banking environment.
• Bachelor's degree is required; Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
• Strong credit knowledge and skills, including the ability to meet credit portfolio requirements and qualification standards.
• Proven track record of meeting sales metrics and managing complex financial transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• CPA certification.
• Extensive industry knowledge and experience as a technical leader or thought leader.
