Managing Director, Alternative Investment Services Loan Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership expertise and strategic oversight for AIS Bank Loan operations in India
• Drive operational excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement through innovation and best practices
• Evolve the operating model to ensure scalability, client-centricity, and industry-leading standards
• Manage and develop a high-performing senior leadership team, including VPs, AVPs, and officer teams
• Act as a senior escalation point for operational issues and partner effectively with IT and global stakeholders
• Ensure consistency across policies, standards, processes, and procedures while maintaining a strong control environment
• Identify opportunities for transformation, capacity creation, and technological optimization

Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience running operations teams within the financial services industry
• Proven enterprise leadership skills with experience managing client service delivery and business growth
• Deep expertise in Bank loan asset classes and end-to-end fund accounting, custody, or middle office operations
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interfacing with senior clients, service providers, and regulators
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and coaching skills for a global, matrixed environment
• Relevant graduate or master's degree
• Willingness to travel regularly for business needs
