Managing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support engagements with NYC and NYS in areas such as business design, organizational strategy, and program management
• Assist in the implementation of large programs, market analysis, and financial modeling
• Drive process improvement, change management, and technology strategy and transformation
• Provide operational analysis, compliance monitoring, and reporting for state and local government clients
• Solve complex management and operational challenges through critical thinking and innovative solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 5+ years of work experience within the public sector space
• Proven experience managing challenging projects and serving clients
• Must currently reside within the New York City metropolitan area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% to client or office locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with New York City and New York State Government practices
• Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups
• Advanced management consulting skills including financial and operational modeling
• Expertise in stakeholder management
