About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Workers’ Compensation department, ensuring strong case strategies and client service
- Provide guidance on complex legal matters, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations
- Mentor and develop attorneys to maintain consistent, high-quality representation
- Step in for trials, hearings, and negotiations as needed
- Conduct client educational webinars and address escalated client matters
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture
Requirements
- JD and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- 8–12 years of Workers’ Compensation experience
- Applicant & Defense mix preferred
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
