About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workers’ Compensation department, ensuring strong case strategies and client service
  • Provide guidance on complex legal matters, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations
  • Mentor and develop attorneys to maintain consistent, high-quality representation
  • Step in for trials, hearings, and negotiations as needed
  • Conduct client educational webinars and address escalated client matters
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture

Requirements

  • JD and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
  • 8–12 years of Workers’ Compensation experience
  • Applicant & Defense mix preferred
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
