Manager/Senior Manager, Finance (Distribution Compensation Management)

Responsibilities

• Review compensation calculations and oversee the governance framework, SOPs, and controls for agency debt collection and distribution compensation.
• Act as a control function to ensure payroll calculations for agency and broker channels are accurate and compliant.
• Own and maintain finance operations SOPs, policies, and controls for agency debt collection.
• Review and challenge aging reports and high-risk accounts to ensure correct financial treatment and policy compliance.
• Lead end-to-end SOP and control design for distribution compensation within Finance Operations.
• Act as a checker for compensation runs, exceptions, and manual adjustments to ensure GL consistency.
• Define and maintain a standard settlement framework aligned with Finance policies and risk appetite.
• Monitor settlement outcomes and trends to recommend policy or process refinements.
• Ensure all processes meet internal control, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 6 years of experience in finance operations, control, or commission/compensation operations.
• Proven experience within the insurance industry.
• Demonstrated experience in governance, internal controls, and SOP design, ideally in a maker/checker environment.
• Experience working with agency/distribution channels and commission or incentive systems.
