Manager, Warehouse Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, intake, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution for the warehouse team
• Serve as the primary contact for all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure timely onsite material distribution to fulfill work orders and minimize downtime
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time shipping, order accuracy, throughput, and productivity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and OSHA safety standards
• Experience coordinating shipments with carriers and vendors
• Ability to work in environments with dust, wind, high noise, and varying temperatures
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software, preferably IBM Maximo
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification
• Experience working in a data center or mission-critical environment
