Manager, Warehouse Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehousing and distribution functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, FAA, ATF, Environmental, and Customs regulations.
• Lead and develop warehouse personnel through training, performance evaluations, and manpower forecasting.
• Monitor performance metrics and manage department budgets to optimize cost savings and operational excellence.
• Oversee the proper handling of specialized materials, including explosives and hazardous materials.
• Drive continuous improvement by designing and implementing new material handling concepts and process improvements.
• Coordinate with internal and external organizations to ensure best-in-class support for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in distribution, inventory control, or a related function.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, IATA and DOT certification for shipping hazardous materials.
• Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or person covered by an existing ITAR license).

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in a Supply Chain related field.
• Five or more years of leadership experience.
• Prior experience using SAP or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
• Additional warehousing, distribution, or planning related certifications.
