Manager, Video Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Manage all National video buying activity, including negotiating buys and tracking performance
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as backup to the Associate Director
• Collaborate with internal teams to align with and deliver against client KPIs
• Prepare status documents, email recommendations, and buy presentations
• Write POVs for targeted opportunities to drive client business
• Direct and provide guidance to the team to ensure superior negotiations
• Oversee media negotiations across various channels and collaborate with partners for promotional opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of programming trends and marketplace conditions

Requirements

• Experience buying network, cable, and syndication within the media industry
• Experience negotiating upfront, scatter, and opportunistic buys
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven superior customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; PowerPoint preferred
• Proficiency with MBox or equivalent Inventory Management systems
• Experience across a variety of media channels

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of local senior buying, supervising, or related industry experience
• Working knowledge of comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, or NetRatings
• Strong established relationships with Networks
• Proven leadership ability and experience supervising a team
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
