Manager, Venue Planning & Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with OBS and its Production and Planning teams
• Facilitate and support venue site surveys for OBS production teams and Media Right Holders
• Liaise with OBS and LA28 functional Areas to address venues-related broadcast needs
• Assist in planning and delivery of all World Broadcaster Meetings & Briefings
• Manage the exchange of information and timely submission of deliverables to OBS
• Support Media Rights Holders with their implementation plans, ensuring alignment with venue infrastructure
• Oversee all milestones and deliverables for broadcast with LA28 functional areas, OBS, IOC, IPC and Media Rights Holders
• Support all infrastructure and technical planning for broadcast services
• Establish strong working relationships with key Functional Areas including Venue Infrastructure, Technology, and Games Operations
• Collaborate with Ticketing and Hospitality teams to address broadcast needs

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• 7+ years of experience in broadcast production, management, coordination and operations for the sport or live event industry
• Experience working with international broadcast organizations providing global coverage
• Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple functional areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work onsite in Downtown Los Angeles

• Experience implementing inclusive communication strategies
• Proven ability to manage change effectively
• Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with immovable timelines
