Manager, Veeva RIM Configuration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Veeva Vault RIM configuration, including objects, page layouts, lifecycles, security, and workflows to support global regulatory processes.
• Translate business requirements into configuration specifications and traceable user stories within a SAFe Agile environment.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of configuration changes from intake through build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Partner with Quality and validation teams to ensure all changes comply with Computerized System Validation (CSV) and GxP expectations.
• Collaborate with integration and data teams to enable seamless data flows and operational reporting across Veeva RIM and adjacent platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and peer mentoring to configuration specialists through design reviews and the creation of reusable standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Veeva Vault applications, with a strong preference for Vault RIM.
• Deep understanding of Vault platform capabilities, including security models, lifecycles, and environment management.
• Working knowledge of integration and data concepts such as REST APIs and ETL patterns.
• Experience with SDLC and CSV controls within a regulated environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decisions in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Regulatory business processes or working within the Life Sciences industry.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or Scrum delivery; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Veeva Vault certifications and experience managing complex, multi-vault global deployments.
