About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive the full lifecycle of data science projects and guide associates in developing technical solutions
- Act as the business owner and manager for the proprietary AI engine used to optimize Copay
- Manage the AI tool roadmap in collaboration with global cross-functional teams
- Develop and deploy applied, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using machine learning and statistical methods
- Oversee a team of 2-4 associates, including setting performance standards and monitoring progress
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications for AI-driven automation and insights
- Build and integrate custom applications, intelligent dashboards, and automated workflows
Requirements
- 8-13 years of post-degree experience in a STEM field (Computer Science, Statistics, etc.)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Systems
- Proficiency in analytic software languages such as Python or R
- Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques (regression, clustering, classification)
- Foundational understanding of the US pharmaceutical ecosystem, including claims, prescription, and EMR data sets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow
- Proficiency with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of NLP techniques for text and sentiment analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and the Databricks platform
- Relevant professional certifications in AWS, Python, or Machine Learning
