About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the IT local support team in New York.
  • Oversee the effective and timely delivery of IT services and maintain high-quality user experiences.
  • Manage the operational availability of computer equipment, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and audio-visual systems.
  • Act as a third-level technical resource to resolve complex customer problems and major platform incidents.
  • Oversee relationships with key stakeholders, providing dedicated support to executives and senior leaders.
  • Drive automation and process improvements using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Ensure team compliance with firm-wide policies, security standards, and asset management procedures.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Proven people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong experience managing Microsoft platforms in a large, distributed enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for operational automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in incident management and resolving critical issues for high-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the legal industry.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar enterprise service management tools.
  • Strong background in managing cloud-based services and infrastructure.
