About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the local IT support team in New York.
- Oversee the effective and timely delivery of IT services and maintain high-quality user experiences.
- Manage the operational availability of computer equipment, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and AV systems.
- Act as a third-level technical resource to resolve complex customer problems and major platform incidents.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and senior executives, to provide high-priority support.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies and data protection best practices.
- Oversee the use of ServiceNow for accurate incident logging, tracking, and compliance.
- Drive automation and process improvements using PowerShell to streamline operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
- Proven people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for operational automation.
- Experience managing Microsoft platforms within a large, distributed enterprise environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during critical incidents.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
