Manager, Transfer Agency

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-location team responsible for the end-to-end oversight of Transfer Agency Payment Activities.
• Ensure all investor transactions are executed accurately within strict deadlines and in compliance with regulatory, client, and internal control requirements.
• Oversee daily processing, queues, exceptions, and adherence to client SLAs and internal KPIs.
• Manage operational risk events, escalations, and remediation actions while leading audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing procedures, enhancing productivity, and analyzing error trends.
• Provide technical expertise for new accounts and funds, ensuring client needs are met through effective problem resolution.
• Coordinate closely with international counterparts to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the funds administration business and in-depth knowledge of Transfer Agency operations.
• Significant track record in a management role within a Transfer Agency or Shareholder Services function.
• Proven people management, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Strong change management and project management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment to develop effective policies and procedures.
• Expertise in risk management and the ability to manage operational risk events.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• Proficiency with various IT platforms, software systems, and banking requirements.
