Manager, Transaction Tax Services

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements to identify and quantify potential tax liabilities and exposures
• Analyze complex tax issues to design tax-efficient structures for strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations
• Collaborate on the design of Canadian and international private equity funds and related management structures
• Prepare technical deliverables outlining tax analysis and implications for clients
• Manage and mentor engagement team members, providing coaching and knowledge transfer
• Support business development initiatives, particularly within the private equity space
• Maintain high-level client relationships and provide effective engagement support

Requirements

• CPA designation or LLB
• Completion of a Master of Taxation or the CPA Canada In-depth Tax program
• At least 4 years of professional services experience with a specialization in Tax
• Proven experience working within M&A transactions
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience managing client expectations and engagement economics
