Manager - Trade Compliance & Logistics

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term, scalable trade and logistics strategies for the EMEA region aligned with business growth.
• Manage EMEA-wide import/export compliance, duty/freight expense management, and coordination with brokers and carriers.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements and automation projects to optimize product movement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate trade compliance and logistics vulnerabilities.
• Act as the primary interface with government agencies for regulatory resolutions and investigations.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate regional team members to support professional development and organizational scaling.
• Maintain seamless communication with site, regional, and global leadership regarding compliance performance and priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs, and international logistics.
• Proven experience in a regional or multi-site leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success managing complex third-party vendor relationships, including brokers and carriers.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with experience navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex laws into business strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and experience with trade/logistics automation tools.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
