About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 12 engineers working with traction control products
- Oversee resource planning and ensure expertise is allocated to appropriate projects
- Monitor key performance indicators including on-time delivery and work-package adherence
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and team development plans
- Conduct salary reviews and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Contribute to the Traction Control department’s leadership team and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Support product portfolio management and guide successful project delivery
- Collaborate with technical project leaders to meet quality, cost, and delivery commitments
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Robotics, or equivalent
- Several years of technical and managerial experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven conflict-management and problem-solving abilities
- Structured, organized, and hands-on working style
- Proficiency in Swedish and English at a business level
- Knowledge of software safety standards (IEC61508, ISO26262) or rail applications is an advantage
- Familiarity with agile software development methods
