About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead program execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional alignment across the entire vehicle program
- Define, implement, and continuously improve KPIs for main system teams and functional departments
- Act as a central integration point across teams to ensure consistency in planning and risk management
- Establish and maintain program-level execution tracking and reporting
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks related to technical feasibility, timing, quality, and cost
- Facilitate governance forums and executive reviews to drive structured decision-making
- Ensure robust change control governance and R&D cross-functional alignment
- Support overall program execution and milestone delivery to ensure launch readiness
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in the automotive industry
- Strong focus on program management, product management, or cross-functional vehicle development
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Proven experience managing complex automotive programs from concept through launch
- Track record of managing KPIs and performance reporting frameworks
- Experience facilitating executive-level decision-making and governance forums
- Proficiency with program management tools like JIRA or Microsoft Project
- Demonstrated AI literacy to leverage generative AI and automation for efficiency
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments
- Experience in EV architectures or software-defined vehicle platforms
- Understanding of the Volkswagen PEP product development system
