Manager, TOE

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Engineers in the Technical Office of Engineering (TOE)
• Oversee R&D functions, industrialization of new models, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Manage engineering change processes and technical evaluations of production impact
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality assurance and problem solving
• Coordinate with suppliers, DREs, and cross-functional teams including production, quality, and purchasing
• Support vehicle launch, pre-series builds, and ramp-up activities
• Develop long-term strategies for component maturity, sourcing, and technology roadmaps
• Identify cost-saving potential and implement value engineering measures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in automobile engineering or manufacturing within an OEM or Tier-1 supplier
• 4+ years in a management role with direct reports
• Proven experience developing components from concept through production release
• Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
• Experience with supplier management, design reviews, and PPAP processes
• Proficiency with CAD systems such as CATIA or Teamcenter
• Ability to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time
