Manager, TLM BAS & Reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Manage the TLM Support Helpdesk and provide oversight to employees regarding performance management and capacity planning.
• Support Client Operations to assess, research, and document business needs related to the TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) application.
• Resolve issues and improve processes by recommending business solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
• Liaise with Risk & Compliance to ensure operational control policies and procedures are appropriately implemented.
• Mitigate financial and reputational risk by maintaining appropriate structures, resources, and controls in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead project planning processes and contribute to the review of SLAs and Business Continuity documents.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of financial services industry experience in an operations environment.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Detailed knowledge of TLM applications.
• Proven experience in cash and asset reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Custody and Banking/Funding operations.
• Experience in Custody or Shareholder services.
• Understanding of related functions such as Entitlements, Cash Management, Settlements, and Fund Accounting.
• Ability to work UK region hours (typically between 4pm – 1am or 5pm – 2am), with flexibility required to support business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with core platforms including TLM Premium, Milvus, W360, BaNCS, Polaris, Tableau, JIRA, or Confluence.
• Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong orientation toward innovation, change management, and risk mitigation.
