Manager, Technical Scrum Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, build, and coach high-performing cross-functional teams in the delivery of technology-related products and projects.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and iteration meetings.
• Manage development tracking systems, including product and sprint backlogs, to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Remove roadblocks and impediments to technology development and architecture to increase team velocity.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Agile methodologies, ensuring best practices are embedded in the delivery process.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Hire, evaluate, and supervise team members, providing guidance and training to foster professional development.
• Monitor team dynamics and sprint progress using metrics to drive continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Agile software development.
• At least 2 years of experience leading large, cross-functional teams on enterprise-level technology initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• Strong proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on team motivation and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or ICAgile Certified Professional.
• Advanced degree in a technical or management-related field.
