About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop sales plans for process and specialty application products in sectors including dairy, pharma, F&B, chemical, and automobile.
- Identify and reach out to new customers to generate enquiries and recommend suitable product solutions based on application needs.
- Manage long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and dealers through regular visits and consultation.
- Handle company/product accreditation and PQ submissions to consultants and clients.
- Forecast market trends and customer pipelines while monitoring competitor activities.
- Provide technical design support and prepare proposals for process applications such as dairy, dye desalting, and UF/NF processes.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including administration, customer service, invoicing, and collections.
- Conduct seminars, exhibitions, and product training workshops for OEMs, consultants, and end users.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and technical teams on new pilots and regional product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Dairy Engineering, or Food Technology.
- 8 to 17 years of experience in the international process technology industry, specifically focusing on dairy, food & beverages, chemical, pharma, or textile sectors.
- Proven experience in sales management or product marketing.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater membrane sales.
- Proficiency in process design and proposal preparation for specialized applications.
- Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Hindi or local languages is a plus.
- Ability to travel extensively across India.
