Manager - Technical Program Management - Cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee company-wide cybersecurity projects, driving strategic direction and cross-functional collaboration to reduce organizational risk.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and security frameworks.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Product, Engineering, Legal, and HR leaders to drive key initiatives and secure organizational buy-in.
• Track cybersecurity project statuses, risk reduction efforts, audit findings, and incident response mitigation work.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, dependency mapping, and risk management strategies.
• Provide regular executive reporting and quantitative metrics on program execution and milestones.
• Act as an audit liaison for engineering teams, translating auditor requests into actionable developer work items.
• Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-project evaluations and implementing best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical program management specifically within security or software engineering programs.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• 2+ years of experience using Smartsheet as a primary program tracking and dashboarding tool.
• Proven experience managing security engineering and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) projects.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Security Engineers, and DevOps teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in Program Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
• Industry certifications related to compliance or cybersecurity.
• Experience working within SaaS organizations and products.
• Knowledge of or experience working with Cloud technologies and environments.
