Manager, Synch Licensing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue synchronization license agreements, invoices, and related licensing documentation
• Maintain accurate digital records for all licensing projects, including correspondence, agreements, and payments
• Partner with the Royalty department to facilitate the processing and tracking of incoming synchronization payments
• Maintain and update licensing databases to accurately reflect the status of licenses and invoices
• Collaborate with the Clearance team to ensure deal terms and licensing information are complete
• Distribute invoices, W-9 forms, and vendor documentation to licensees and clearance companies
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on license fee collections
• Review daily payment notifications to identify and allocate incoming synchronization revenue
• Assist with monthly payment reconciliations and reporting activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in music licensing, synchronization licensing, or copyright administration
• Strong understanding of music licensing, synchronization, copyright, and music clearance processes
• Experience preparing licensing agreements and managing payment workflows
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
