Support the integration of LA28’s sustainability strategy into venue design, construction, and delivery
Conduct research and make recommendations on sustainable design, building materials, and carbon reduction
Implement new systems to support colleagues in delivering sustainability objectives
Support the use of novel technologies for sustainable design and responsible material use
Develop mechanisms to communicate sustainability initiatives to diverse audiences
Assist in planning and executing sustainability-focused workshops
Assist in producing sustainability aspects of vendor or contractor scope of works
Help collect and assess data to ensure sustainability targets are met
Foster a culture of sustainability and positive environmental legacy

5+ years of professional experience in sustainability within built environment design, delivery, or construction
Strong understanding of sustainability principles, carbon footprint reduction, and circular outcomes
Knowledge of supply chains and responsible materials sourcing
Experience collaborating in fast-paced, multifaceted systems
Experience working alongside consultants, contractors, and vendors
Experience in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, Event Management, or Environmental Science)
