Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the dynamic landscape of corporate sustainability regulations, focusing on reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Analyze sustainability reporting regulations and translate them into concrete organizational requirements.
- Coordinate the interpretation of reporting regulations with relevant topical functions.
- Manage the central hub for sustainability reporting requirements and ensure continuous alignment with evolving interpretations.
- Develop solutions for complex accounting questions regarding sustainability reporting in alignment with external assurance providers.
- Co-write technical text blocks for the sustainability report.
- Contribute to public engagement and consultations regarding sustainability reporting regulations.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in a similar field of activity.
- Strong expertise in Corporate Sustainability Reporting and standards (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, GHG Protocol, SASB, etc.).
- Practical expertise in Sustainability Reporting Assurance from a company, consultancy, or assurance provider perspective.
- Experience in matrix roles, project management, and stakeholder management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fluent and precise communication skills in both English and German.
- Ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in simple terms.
