Manager Sustainability Reporting Regulations

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the dynamic landscape of corporate sustainability regulations, focusing on reporting and disclosure requirements.
• Analyze sustainability reporting regulations and translate them into concrete organizational requirements.
• Coordinate the interpretation of reporting regulations with relevant topical functions.
• Manage the central hub for sustainability reporting requirements and ensure continuous alignment with evolving interpretations.
• Develop solutions for complex accounting questions regarding sustainability reporting in alignment with external assurance providers.
• Co-write technical text blocks for the sustainability report.
• Contribute to public engagement and consultations regarding sustainability reporting regulations.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in a similar field of activity.
• Strong expertise in Corporate Sustainability Reporting and standards (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, GHG Protocol, SASB, etc.).
• Practical expertise in Sustainability Reporting Assurance from a company, consultancy, or assurance provider perspective.
• Experience in matrix roles, project management, and stakeholder management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Fluent and precise communication skills in both English and German.
• Ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in simple terms.
