About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver mandatory sustainability reporting services, including process design and audit readiness for carbon footprint measurement (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
- Support clients in establishing GHG inventories, defining boundaries, and developing carbon accounting methodologies
- Advise on climate-related financial disclosures, including governance, risk management, and integration into financial reporting processes
- Provide tailored advice aligned with evolving frameworks such as AASB S1 & S2, ISSB, and TCFD
- Assist clients in translating complex reporting requirements into practical, scalable solutions
- Support and mentor junior team members to contribute to a high-performance team environment
- Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership, training, and coaching initiatives
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Background in audit, accounting, or financial reporting
- Experience in financial audit, assurance, or accounting advisory
- Exposure to ESG, sustainability, or climate-related reporting
- Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, or AASB S1 & S2
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to carbon accounting, climate risk assessment, or ESG reporting processes
- Ability to interpret complex and evolving reporting requirements and translate them into practical client outcomes
