Manager, Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership for procurement, materials management, and planning sub-functions
• Manage a team of experienced professionals, including succession planning and talent development
• Collaborate with Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure early supply chain involvement in proposals
• Develop and execute transformation plans focused on Design for Supply Chain (DfSC), resiliency, and lead time reduction
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations including EAR, ITAR, UCC, FAR, and DFARS
• Lead the supply chain team to achieve working capital targets through inventory reduction and payment term negotiations
• Monitor and report on KPI trends and continuous improvement metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Graduate Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
• 13+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience leading teams
• Experience in government contracting and FAR/DFARS compliance
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a technical field
• Extensive experience in early sourcing, production planning, and complex negotiations
• 3+ years of experience presenting directly to senior leadership
• Advanced technical skills in supply chain management, including inventory and scorecarding
• Understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Knowledge of AS9100D and GD&T
