Manager, Strategy & Research

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and implement corporate strategy and strategic projects
• Support the development of annual operational business plans and KPIs
• Align corporate strategy with Masdar’s vision, mission, and shareholder directives
• Facilitate the prioritization of corporate initiatives
• Ensure alignment between business plans and financial budgets
• Provide strategic advice to the Board and Investment/Executive Committee
• Generate insights on new and existing strategic partnerships
• Oversee the in-house investment research function
• Lead investment and market research to optimize existing and new investments
• Manage team performance, recruitment, training, and development
• Manage relationships with service level providers and key stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in multi-national strategy consulting or investment/private equity
• Experience in the energy sector, specifically renewable energy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Expertise in corporate and investment strategy development
• Knowledge of macroeconomics and macro-sectorial analysis
• Understanding of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030
• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or relevant Master’s degree from a top-tier institution
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, or finance
